Glory Days

Found these photos in an old box in my late Mother in laws attic the other day. For five years Betty had what she described in private moments as a passionate love affair with her second husband, Hall of Fame Hydroplane pilot Ron Musson, before his death in a 1966 racing accident. To hear tales told, he was a hard drinking, carousing, intensely competitive, womanizing sort. A man of diminutive physical stature who possessed all of the traits that in later years might be categorized as “Short Man Syndrome”.

Funny…he doesn’t seem very small to me.

  1. What fun pictures–those were, indeed The Good Days! The music! What was that? I need to have that to listen to every single morning.

  2. Mocean Worker. “Shake Ya Boogie”.
